Welcome & Meet Elijah Lock
Elijah Lock is a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and will complete registration exams in spring 2021 to become an RMT.
Elijah can treat you for any reason that brings you to the clinic. He is excited to give you a high level of care that you deserve and understands that each client requires a unique assessment and therapy plan. Elijah uses deep tissue release, Swedish massage, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching, and more.
In his spare time, Elijah explores his culinary skills at home and lifts weights at the gym to stay active.
Massage therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, tendons, connective tissue, ligaments, fascia and joints for the purpose of reducing pain and optimizing health. It helps alleviate soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday stresses, muscular over-use and maultiple chronic pain conditions. If employed early enough after an accident, massage therapy can greatly reduce the development of painful muscular patterning.
