FREE Stretch of the Day!!

Stretch of the Day:

  • The Itchy Back Stretch! This stretch is best performed with the help of an assisting tool such as a towel, a broom stick or a golf club for example. Place one hand behind your head and the opposite hand behind your back. Now try to grasp your two hands. This is easier said than done. Use a towel or broom stick in both hands to try to approximate your two hands. Now alternate gently pulling up and down. Do this for 30-seconds. Now do the exact same exercise but alternate hands. Notice that it may be more difficult on one side than the other. This just shows us how the body holds tension in a notably asymmetrical way.
