Stretch of the Day:
- The Scarecrow Stretch! This stretch is perfect for those who spend hours sitting and for those who are experiencing tightness in their lower backs. Standing feet shoulder width apart, laterally bend to one side as far as comfortable, sliding hand down your leg. Take your elevated shoulder and roll it forward while the hand of that arm dangles to the ground. Shake it a few times making sure the weight of the upper body is hanging and lose. Breathe in and out 3 times. Now repeat side. This stretch stimulates blood flow to the muscles of your lower back. Repeat 2/3-times and throughout the day.
