Dr. Michael Horowitz's Stretch of the Day Series
Stretch of the Day:
- The Shrugs & The Rolls! Shrug your shoulders to the sky and squeeze for 10-seconds. Now release and roll your shoulders forward and/or backward 10 times. This stimulates blood flow to your Trapezius and Levator Scapular muscles, an area that holds a lot of tension. Repeat 3-times and throughout the day. This stretch is great for reducing neck and shoulder tension caused by long hours of sitting in front of computers, reading or writing.
