FREE Stretch of the Day!!

Stretch of the Day:

  • The Morning-Salutation Stretch! This stretch has been borrowed from yoga. It is extremely important to do this stretch slowly and with your knees bent. In the standing position bend forward so that your upper body is completely drawn to the ground. The knees must be bent here. Allow the arms to rest on the floor or hold onto your elbows as the weight of your upper body is drawn to the ground. Feel a stretch in your hamstrings and your lower back. With a breath in, lift your chest horizontal to the ground while maintaining your flexion at the hips & knees. Breath out and return to the ground. Repeat this 3-5 times. Breath is very important with this stretch.
