Dr. Michael Horowitz's Stretch of the Day Series
Stretch of the Day:
The Arm/Shoulder (x3) Stretch! This stretch helps improve the range of motion and flexibility of the ball & socket joint of the shoulder. There are three parts to it: 1) assist your straight arm with a stretch across the body and hold for 15-30-seconds, 2) assist your bent arm with a stretch behind the head and hold for 15-30-seconds, add a lateral bend of the torso to the opposite side to feel an extra stretch of the Triceps & Lats, and 3) assist your bent arm that is placed behind the back and hold for 15-30-seconds, add a lateral bend of the neck to the opposite side to feel an extra stretch to the Traps & Levator Scapular muscle.
